I find that using an enchanting mod when the only enchant on your bar is fire attunement is a waste. Enchanting is great for dual-attunement builds and other builds that rely on enchants, not simple PvE nuker builds.

What do you put in that weapon slot instead?

You could always use a 40/40 or other set for a secondary attribute I guess.

Oh, I do use enchanting.. I was just saying that ifs all you have is Fire Attunement, even 30 hp may be more useful. I use enchanting because I love Mindbender

Right. I'm just saying that if all you have is Fire Attunement you might as well use a 40/40 set, and not a staff. If you have another element to take a 40/40 for, take that for sure, otherwise why not take an enchanting set even if it's just for one skill? Sometimes you don't need that 4th set for anything.

Don't run a staff. Run a wand and an off-hand for 40/40 set. Work especially useful in PvE.
